Ok, so this isn’t exactly a savings post, but considering Valpak delivers 960,000 envelopes full of coupons to northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, I’d definitely classify it as savings-related.
Currently, Valpak of Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming is in search of a new Marketing Advisor. If you aren’t already aware, I work at Valpak as the Marketing Coordinator, and am actually coming up on my three-year anniversary this Friday. Our Marketing Advisors (we have 3) help local business owners achieve their advertising goals. They’re responsible for print and digital sales, customer service, account management, and more. I find that people tend to think our Advisors “just sell coupons”, but there’s more to it than that. Our Marketing Advisors sell advertising programs that are designed to deliver results. There is an actual marketing science behind it.
Business owners have to find a way to reach customers and draw them in, and that’s what we help them do. Valpak coupons are invitations, invitations to get customers in the door. Once we get the consumer through the door, it’s up to the business to make the sale and turn that coupon-touting customer into loyal, full-price paying patron. Because our Advisors understand how effective Valpak is at getting people to engage with businesses, they do very well when it comes to selling it.
