If I only had one day left to live and was asked what I would like to eat for my last meal, I would request pizza. It’s true! I’d like to say I’d order something fancy and expensive, but pizza is my FAVORITE.
As you can imagine, I am pretty particular about my pizza and some might call me a snob. I like many different kinds of pizza, but given the choice, I’ll order a slice of regular ol’ pepperoni deep dish.
Many people already know I have an affinity for Panhandler’s Pizza. It’s my go-to pizza spot in Fort Collins, and not just because they advertise in Valpak. I genuinely love their deep dish slices and their staff is always so pleasant! Sometimes I’ll use a coupon for an entire pizza, like this Super Saver deal for 1 large, 1 topping pizza for only $13.99, but oftentimes, the family and I just head over to sit down and order by the slice.
During a recent office meeting, my co-workers and I got off subject (sound familiar?) and started talking about the best pizza in town. I was in the middle of professing my love for Panhandler’s when a couple of the guys asked if I had tried Little Ceasar’s new deep dish pizza. I rolled my eyes because I wrote off Little Ceasar’s after I graduated college, but they were absolutely adamant that it was the best pizza either of them have had in a long time. I was skeptical, but after a few days of heckling, I decided to give in and give it a try.
A couple of the gals from work went with me to Little Caesars on Harmony to try this deep dish pizza of theirs. Currently, there are no coupons available for their deep dish pizzas (no worries, I’ll list the coupons they DO have available below), so we opted to try their $5 Hot-n-Ready Lunch Combo. The lunch combo offer runs from 11 am to 2 pm, and includes 4 pieces of pepperoni deep dish pizza and a 20 oz Pepsi product. The girls and I went around 11:30 and they were already down to only 1 box! While we waited for the staff to make fresh boxes, we talked about how the deep dish must be pretty decent if they were already out.
You know what? It was pretty good! It’s not going to replace Panhandler’s for me, but I will definitely start recommending Little Caesar’s deep dish pizza to people who are looking for a good pizza deal for lunch or who like Panhandler’s but would prefer something less expensive.
If, like me, you wrote off Little Caesars long ago but are interested in giving it a try again, there are a few current coupons available online:
